A Sausage Encyclopedia

From clovegarden.com comes an encyclopedia of sausages and salamis, with good explanations of the differences between the two, how each is made, pictures showing what they look like, and more. It's a fascinating read, even if you don't care for sausage. You can find the encyclopedia here.

Welcome to "The Cold Table" (formerly called "Table Scraps" and, less recently, "Food Through Time")! This is a blog about the history of food worldwide. It's about the origins of foodstuffs; recreating period foods, cooking techniques, and cooking utensils; historic ideas about food and nutrition; eating customs; and tableware.
