EXARC on "An Early Meal"

I have not yet succeeded in reading, let alone obtaining, a copy of the latest book on Viking age Scandinavian food, "An Early Meal", but there's an interesting review of the book on EXARC, a journal of experimental archaeology. The review can be read here. The gist of the review is that the recipes produce extremely good food. It has made me even more eager to obtain a copy.

  1. Cathy, try Poison Pen Press (http://www.poisonpenpress.com/). That's where I got my copy at Pennsic last year, and they are very good at obtaining hard-to-find books.

    1. It's not that I don't know *where* to get the book, Beatriz, it's money. "An Early Meal" is $45 before shipping, and until February I was mostly unemployed. Now, I'm dealing with bills that mounted, but soon I should be able to order it without strain.
